Receive an email in three steps

From copying the address to reading the message, without leaving this page

SendTmp puts your address, countdown, and online inbox in one seamless workflow. No account creation and no jumping between pages.

1

Copy the current address

Click the copy button next to the address, then paste the complete email address into the website where you need to receive mail. The address is ready to receive messages as soon as it is generated.

2

Return to the inbox and wait

The page checks for new messages periodically. If you have just submitted a form, you can also refresh manually. The countdown always shows how long the mailbox remains available.

3

Open incoming mail in your browser

Once a real email arrives, it replaces the demo content. Click anywhere on the row to view the subject, sender, and full message—no need to log in to another webmail account.

Start by checking how long you need it

Disposable email for short tasks, aliases for ongoing contact

Before choosing an address, ask yourself: will you be done after reading this email, or might you need to reply or recover an account days later? These tools serve different time horizons.

Use caseBest optionWhy
Get a one-time download linkTemporary emailThe task usually ends within minutes, so you do not need to add your real address to a marketing list.
Receive a short-lived verification code or trial notificationTemporary emailThe online inbox opens instantly in your browser, making it ideal when you expect the message to arrive shortly.
A subscription you may need to cancel or recover laterForwarding aliasThe alias delivers messages to your real inbox and can be paused independently without affecting other accounts.
Important accounts and payment credentialsReal email or dedicated aliasThese accounts need a long-term recovery path and should not rely on an address that expires.

Clear, visible time limits

Starts at 3 hours and can be extended when needed, up to 24 hours

Every new address starts with a three-hour countdown. If your workflow is not finished, click “Extend 1 hour.” When you no longer need it, switch to a new address. Changing addresses creates a completely new inbox with a fresh three-hour window; the old address does not carry over.

3 hoursInitial validity for each new mailbox
24 hoursMaximum lifetime of a temporary mailbox

The countdown is more than decoration

The page updates the remaining time every second, so you know whether the address is still valid before submitting a form and avoid using an expiring mailbox for an important step.

Changing addresses starts a fresh cycle

“Change address” does not simply edit a few characters. It creates a new mailbox and discards the old one. The new address gets a complete three-hour window.

Use a forwarding alias when you need more time

If a service may contact you again tomorrow or next week, do not keep extending a temporary address. A pausable alias is the more reliable choice.

Reduce exposure of your real address

Keep short-term signups separate from your long-term identity

Spam protection does not come from exaggerated promises. It starts with sharing your real address less often and creating fewer long-term links to your identity. SendTmp receives email only and cannot send messages.

Built for receiving only

Use the temporary address to receive verification codes, links, and notifications. It cannot send email and will not become another long-term communication identity.

Leave one fewer trackable entry point

Using a disposable email for short-term activities can keep your real inbox out of future marketing campaigns. Once the task is done, there is no unsubscribe relationship to maintain.

The limits are built into the product

Temporary mailboxes do not retain attachments, and entire messages over 100 MB are rejected. Use a real mailbox or forwarding archive when you need attachments and long-term records.

Email not showing up?

Check the delivery chain instead of refreshing repeatedly

Most “missing” emails are not caused by an invalid address. The sender may not have delivered the message yet, the address may have been pasted incorrectly, or the message may exceed the temporary inbox limits. Checking in order helps you find the cause faster.

Verify the complete addressCopy the current address again and make sure no characters are missing from the domain or random prefix, and that no leading or trailing spaces were pasted into the form.
Make sure the countdown is still runningOnce the countdown reaches zero, the old address stops receiving new mail. If little time remains, extend it or switch to a new address before sending again.
Refresh manually onceThe sender may need several seconds to queue the message. Wait a moment and refresh once; repeated clicks will not make the sender’s mail server deliver faster.
Check the sender’s restrictionsSome websites reject disposable email addresses or require an address that remains linked to the account. In these cases, use a real email address or forwarding alias.
Watch the message sizeTemporary mailboxes do not retain attachments, and entire messages over 100 MB are rejected. Use a long-term mailbox for important files.

Frequently asked questions

Know these practical limits before using temporary email

These answers cover validity, verification codes, attachments, and privacy. For important accounts, do not just ask whether you can receive mail—consider whether you may need account recovery months later.

Do I need to sign up to use a temporary email?

No. Open the homepage and the system will generate a ready-to-use address. Copy it and start receiving mail. Email forwarding aliases are a long-term feature and require verification-code login with your real email address.

How long can I use the email address?

A new address is initially valid for three hours. You can extend it by one hour at a time, up to a maximum lifetime of 24 hours. The countdown continuously shows the remaining time.

Can I receive verification codes with it?

Yes, as long as the sender allows disposable email and the message arrives while the address is valid. Use an email with long-term recovery for financial, payment, and important accounts.

Why are there two emails in the inbox already?

They are Shopify and LinkedIn demo emails included to showcase the reading experience. They are marked “Demo” and are not counted as real messages. When the first real email arrives, the list switches entirely to real content.

Can SendTmp send email?

No. SendTmp temporary addresses are for receiving email only, helping prevent abuse as anonymous sending tools. If you need to reply, use your own long-term email address.

Are my old emails kept after changing addresses?

No. Changing addresses creates a new inbox and discards the old one, so read or save anything important before switching.

Are email attachments saved?

Temporary mailboxes do not retain attachments, and entire messages over 100 MB are rejected. To download attachments online, use an email solution that keeps records long term.

What is the difference between temporary email and a forwarding alias?

Temporary email lets you receive messages directly in your browser for a short time. A forwarding alias lasts longer, sends incoming mail to your real inbox, and includes 30-day archiving plus independent pausing.
